The LS-LR/GS series torque limiters combine ball or roller limiter technology with an elastic coupling, providing reliable and flexible protection for mechanical transmissions. The engagement torque is transmitted through balls or rollers and can be easily adjusted by acting on the pressure exerted by the springs.
When the engagement torque is reached, the movable part of the limiter, connected to the transmission coupling, begins to rotate. This movement causes the balls or rollers to escape from their seats, generating an axial movement that triggers a release switch, immediately stopping the machine or system to prevent damage.
