Torque limiters in which torque is transmitted by balls/rollers. The disengagement torque is adjusted by acting on the pressure exerted by the springs.
When the set torque is reached, the movable part of the limiter, connected to the fixed part through balls or rollers, begins to rotate, causing the balls/rollers to come out of their seats. This generates an axial movement that activates the release switch, instantly stopping the action of the machine/plant.
